• Since the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital opened in 1994, there has been more than a doubling of total activity of perinatal services, and a five fold increase in specialist services relating to areas such as diabetes and heart disease in pregnancy
• These developments have largely been driven through the activities of the academic department
