This is a two-day, international cancer conference that will bring together world leaders in the translation of breast cancer research into clinical trials.
There are four themes to Precision Medicines in Breast Cancer which are centred on understanding breast cancer and how to improve its treatment.

Cancer Research Symposium - 19th April 2012
The Imperial Cancer Research UK Centre is delighted to announce its first annual Research Symposium in support of our PhD Training Programme.
This event is intended for cancer scientists at every stage of their careers and is free to attend, but registration is essential.
We particularly encourage all PhD students to attend and participate.

Evening wine and canape reception with contactomics events from 5.30 p.m.
Venue: Lecture Theatre 2, Wolfson Education Centre, Hammersmith Hospital Campus
A poster competition will be held during the lunch break and awards will be presented following the keynote lecture.
Fuller’s London Pride 10K Family Walk and Fun Run
***Sunday 1st July***
The 17th annual Fuller’s London Pride 10k Family Walk and Fun Run will take place on Sunday 1st July in support of Cancer Research UK with all funds from this event going directly to Hammersmith Hospital, part of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The route follows the picturesque Thames path over Chiswick and Hammersmith Bridges starting and ending at the Griffin Brewery. Scientists from Hammersmith Hospital
will be there on the day to explain a little more about their research and will be extracting DNA from strawberries to demonstrate some of the techniques used.
It is hoped that families, friends and participants of every age group will take part. The route is buggy friendly and dogs are welcome too. Preregistered walkers and runners pay £10 to enter (£15 on the day). Kids go free. (Must be accompanied by an adult). Registration can be either online or by phone:
