International Public Health Society
The Imperial International Public Health Society (IIPH) is composed of students from Imperial's postgraduate programmes: the Masters in Public Health, the MSc in Modern Epidemiology, the MSc in International Healthcare Management (directed by the business school), and the School of Public Health’s PhD programmes; as well as trainee doctors undertaking the BSc in Global Health.
The organising committee consists of people from each of the above groups. Further details about us can be found here.
We seek to provide a forum for discussion and increased awareness of international health issues, as well as a chance to complement our experience with opportunities of work and research on international projects and organizations. IIPH will do this via:
- the organization of events and conferences with speakers from International Public Health Organizations and Projects
- the exchange of information regarding events hosted by other universities / organizations
- information about where to look for available jobs and internships
If you would like to join, either to receive regular (around once a month) updates by email, or to take an active role in the society, please contact Dr Zara Shubber on zara.shubber11@imperial.ac.uk
