Electives and Clinical attachments for undergraduate medical students

For final year/penultimate year undergraduate medical students

Faculty of Medicine, in conjunction with our partner NHS hospitals, is able to consider applications for clinical attachment elective study periods.

Placements are restricted to a maximum period of 6 weeks per student. Please note that UKBA are now requiring Tier 4 visa for Non-EU/EEA/Swiss Nationals - see Guidance document.

  - applications are only possible at Hillingdon for the period June - August in any year.

• Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust  - the elective programme is currently on hold so they are not taking any students at present.

For non-EEA/Swiss nationals, UK Immigration Tier 4 visa requirements have recently been reimposed by UKBA . Please see the  Imperial International Office website for visa information: http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/international/current/visas

Please note that Imperial will require evidence of competency in English.
