Biomedical sciences is the study of how scientific or laboratory-based knowledge and understanding applies to clinical practice.

This programme will give you a sound knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice of biomedical science, and as the course progresses you will be able to specialise and tailor the programme to your own individual needs and career aspirations. You will have the opportunity to study modules from a range of departments and faculties at Imperial, including the Department of Humanities.

Please note that neither B900 nor B9N2 are accredited by the IBMS (Institute of Biomedical Scientists). Accredited courses are intended primarily for those who will work in routine laboratories (e.g. within the NHS), whereas this BSc course provides a wider range of opportunities.
