Entry requirements

There are a number of entry requirements for the MSc. Immunology course.  These are detailed below.  If you have further queries after reading the information provided here and on the other pages of the course website, further information can be requested from the College Registry or the MSc. Immunology Course Administrator.

Academic 

Course entry requires a second class honours or above, or equivalent, in an appropriate biological science subject (e.g. Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences), medicine, dentistry or veterinary science.  Other subjects may be considered if exceptional circumstances exist - please contact the Course Administrator for further advice.

Proof of achievements (Official Certificates) will be requested if you are offered a place on the course.

The College's Registry department have prepared information about entry requirements and how overseas qualifications are compared with UK qualifications.  If the Registry website does not answer your question, please contact the Registry department directly for further help.

English

All Imperial students must have a command of the English language.  Please see the Imperial College London English language tests webpage for full details of entry requirements.

Course fees

To find out more information about fees and what status you would be given (Home/EU or overseas), please visit the Registry department's fees status website and their webpage giving information about the current cost of fees

Home/EU Fees for 2013/14:  £9,000
Overseas Fees for 2013/14:  £28,500

Fees for this course include both tuition and bench fees.

If you receive an offer of a place on the course, you will need to complete the terms of the offer (See Application Procedure) before you are accepted by the College.  Once you have completed the terms of your offer and received your acceptance letter, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 10% of the full course fees.  Full information about deposit and fee payment will be sent to you with your offer.  Candidates who are sponsored and whose fee sponsorship is fully confirmed will not be requested to make the prepayment as the sponsors will be invoiced for the full fee.

Please note that the College Tuition Fees Team deals with all tuition fee payments, not the MSc. Immunology course administrator; please see the Tuition fees webpage, or contact the Tuition Fees Team directly, for more information on paying fees and the deposit.

Visas:  International Students

Please note: In order to get a student visa an applicant will need to provide evidence totalling 40 points or more.  Please visit the Imperial College International Office website here to read the College guidelines and for further information on the points system.  If you do have a question regarding the system then please do check this site first, and if you still cannot find the answer then feel free to contact the International Office directly.
