Assessment methods

Most of the taught material of Term 1 will be assessed by a 3-hour written examination paper at the start of Term 2. Most of the taught material of Term 2 will be assessed by a 3-hour written examination paper at the start of Term 3.

Other modules in Terms 1 and 2 will be assessed by mini-project course work to be submitted by the start  of the third term.  The third term will be assessed on the basis of a 10-15,000 word dissertation.

An oral presentation will be given during the final examination, by viva voce, in September.
