Cardiorespiratory Nursing - MSc
This part-time course is designed to provide up to date knowledge and identify the evidence upon which to base both current and future practice.
The course is designed to provide an academically challenging and innovative approach to cardio-respiratory nursing by placing research and dissemination squarely alongside familiar management, practical and teaching roles at senior clinical level.
Throughout the course a work-related dissertation should be prepared for submission in September of the final year.

Entry requirements: UK degree with first or second class grading or equivalent and professional nursing registration (Registered General Nurse or Registered Sick Children’s Nurse) and minimum 2 years experience in cardio-respiratory nursing.

Assessment
Modules will be assessed by a combination of written work and also in the written paper examinations at the end of each year.
The dissertation and viva are undertaken in the second year.
