Immunology of HCV Infection

Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a persistent infection in many patients with an otherwise competent immune system.  We are currently studying both the innate and adaptive immune response to the Hepatitis C virus.  The group has a specific interest in the immunogenetics and functions of natural killer cells and T cells.
