Mr Scott Armstrong
Scott Armstrong is a PhD student working under the supervision of Dr Robert Dickinson within Imperial College's Biophysics section.
Scott received his first degree in 2009 from the University of Glasgow, where he studied for the M.Sci in pharmacology. As part of his degree he also undertook an industrial placement within Pfizer's Global Research & Development facility in Sandwich, Kent.
He is currently a recipient of an Imperial College studentship funded by the Medical Research Council. His research focusses on understanding the mechanisms by which the noble gas xenon can protect the brain against a variety of injuries.
