Ms Eleanor Murray
Eleanor Murray is an Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunity and Public Health Researcher for the Centre for Patient Safety and Service Quality (CPSSQ) at Imperial College London. She works closely with the Centre for Infection Prevention and Management (CIPM) at Imperial College and lectures on the MSc in Quality and Safety in Healthcare programme.
During a career in health services management, which involved ten years in senior and executive management roles, she obtained a Masters in Health Services Management from the University of Manchester and a Masters in Organisational Behaviour from Birkbeck University of London. Eleanor recently became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development based on her work in organisational development and human resources.
The principal areas of her research are in organisational behaviour and infection prevention and control, including the newly emerging field of organisational resilience. Her current PhD study entitled, "Examining organisational resilience in UK healthcare, focusing on infection prevention and control" is based at the CPSSQ and supervised by Professor Alison Holmes and Professor Charles Vincent.
