Dr Benjamin W Lamb

Ben studied medicine in Cambridge and London and has completed his core surgical training in hospitals in the south east of England. Currently, he is working as a Urology Research Registrar at Whipps Cross University Hospital and a Clinical Research Fellow at the Centre for Patient Safety and Service Quality at Imperial College London.

Ben’s main research interest is multidisciplinary cancer teams, and he has written and presented work on decision making, non-technical skills, and leadership in MDTs. Other interests include quality in healthcare and healthcare economics.

Alongside his research Ben enjoys teaching medical students, doctors and allied healthcare professionals on a wide range of topics from communication skills to MDT working to Urological Sciences.

Outside work, Ben lives in north London with his wife and baby daughter and considers himself a very amateur gardener.
