Dr Paul Strutton
Neurophysiology
Paul Strutton is a Senior Lecturer in Neurophysiology and runs the Nick Davey laboratory in the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Charing Cross hospital.
His research interests include investigation of the central nervous system control of movements and posture in normal and pathological conditions such as low back pain, osteoarthritis and fatigue. Techniques used include transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) of the brain and peripheral nerves, electromyography (muscle activity), postural perturbations and balance organ stimulation (vestibular stimulation).
Clinical specialities relevant to: anyone with an interest in neuroscience/neuromuscular control.
