Bursaries and Funding
Bursary/ Funding information:
ACFs and CLs have the NIHR bursary and BRC funding available to them.
AFTs have the BRC funding available to them.
NIHR TCC Bursary
There is £1000 available each financial year (March-April) to help support attendance to conferences and training relevant to your research area for ACFs and CLs. To apply for the bursary please complete a NIHR Bursary form, Expense form and supply all relevant receipts to the Postgraduate Medicine Administrator.

* Please note you cannot claim for food using the NIHR bursary. Claiming the bursary is different from an Imperial College expense application. The expense form is a mechanism to have your application processed. Therefore not all declarations on the expense form apply.
BRC Funding
There is £1000 available to Academic Foundation Trainees, £2000 for ACFs and £5000 for CLs to help fund consumables used in your research project. To apply for the funding please complete a BRC Funding form, and send to the Postgraduate Medicine Administrator.

* Please note that all Bursary and Funding forms that are not completed correctly will be subject to delays. Applications can take approximately 4 weeks to process. In busier times of the year - February - May, processing times can vary and increase to approximately two months.
