Research Activities

The wide range of research activities within the Division covers cardiovascular medicine, clinical and molecular neuroscience, psychological medicine, haematology, pathology and experimental physiology. The unifying theme is Translational Medicine. The composition of the Division and its close association with CPG6 within the Trust provide access to the tools – imaging, pathology, etc – that permit informative studies in humans.

Teaching Activities

The Division is responsible for the Wellcome Trust/GSK Translational Medicine Training Fellowship Programme and the Master's in Research programme (MRes), Clinical Research, which consists of 3 distinct pathways: MRes Translational Medicine; MRes Clinical Research Design and Management; and MRes Cellular Pathology.
